Defaults are determined by the DIPS however.Īdditionally, there is enough space in the EEROM to do some statistics storage. On the EEROM, Im also going to make it so you can change settings directly from Self Test (ala Gauntlet) rather than fiddling with the DIPS. So, everyone can have it any way they want. however, I *will* put a setting in the Self Test that allows you to run 'stock' (production + Return To Vaxx) warp codes that are the norm. Yes, if you replace your EEROM, you will have new warps. So, with that, the warps are now randomly generated on each PCB as they are attained and stored in the EEROM. In the original code, the EEROM is really only used to store High Scores and Initials which takes up a paltry 36 bytes of the 2048 available. as Jerky mentioned, Im trying to utilize the EEROM on the PCB much more than when initially designed. firstly, thanks to DJ for posting the vids, it is pretty entertaining watching him go through the levels as I am not a great player myself to get that far without some warping help. I will try and address a few things I read in earlier posts. Im a bit late to the party but Jerky got me up to speed.
